Fictional Rebranding
Kallithea Springs in Rhodes, Greece dates all the way back to the classical Antiquity, but the current facilities were built by the Italians in 1929. After a thorough renovation, the facilities reopened as a museum in 2007.
During one of my recent visits, I was awed by the architectural influences of the place, channeling styles from Moorish and Arabic to Baroque and Art Deco combined with soft and subtle colours in an soothing Mediterranean natural landscape.
Inspired by all these, I envisioned a fresh brand identity of Kalithea, having illustrations as the backbone of the brand. Using graphic details found on the walls and pebbles, I created icons, patterns and a new logo as well as stationary items, a new responsive website and an illustrative guide of the place.
